am i like crazy. when did video games start having the more Agile-type free camera where no matter how confined the location is, you can always spin the camera around the character (unless it's locked). vs the jak and daxter style of the camera being a solid "object" that has to stay a minimum distance from the character and thus can't actually spin around in small spaces. if that makes sense
#like in jak 1 and daxter psp so far there's moments where i'm totally blind just on accident#because the physical camera is Stuck between the wall and its mandatory distance from the character#so i cant spin it back in front of me...

i could literally stop using my smartphone rn if i wanted to
#i have my walkman and discman = music#i have compact cameras and a camcorder = ....camera#i have a dsi and i might get a PSP = games#i have pens and a notebook = notes app#like. i could get a flip phone and i would be fine 🤷🏾♀️#i mean i wont stop using it cause its very convenient but sometimes i like walking around with tech that doesn't require#i charge it (apart from the dsi)

#its good but you cant stop thinking about how much harder it would smack if they gave it the level of functionality of other yakuza games#it has the potential!!!!!!!!! to be one of the best games ever!!! and its just sitting collecting dust because they made it for the fucking#psp of all things. the music is amazing this combat is too fun and interesting to leave alone#theres so many minigames in there like kareoke and love in heart that are usually awesome but are just not good bc of hardware#limitations or maybe budget idk like it came out before dead souls in 2010 but in my mind i am comparing it to y1 because#it plays pretty similarly with the fixed camera angles and a few other things but its less functional and that was 5 years ago growls#i donr think theres a risk with people not taking to the characters well because obviously that isnt true with any other spinoffs they made#yakuza 0 is a prequel and its literally the most popular PLEASE. PLEASE I NEED TO SEE HIM SO BADLY. GIVE TATSUYA HIS POLYGONS i need this#it could be so good... what could have been...

I am a bad camera enjoyer, something about bad cameras is so good to me. In a world where everyone has a pretty good camera in their back pocket I love that most of the photos I take have a delightful garbage quality to them.
My favorite camera is the PSP camera, the only webcam I own I got from a goodwill and I had to go to a clearly abandoned website to download the drivers to make it work.
